I’ve been really getting into the new Star Wars stuff on Disney+. Andor was phenomenal. But back when Obi Wan was airing, I got curious about all the written text. I even made a futuristic laser-cut translator, which I apparently never wrote about in the blog.

A silly suggestion turned into a silly 3D printer project: designing and printing a fake VGA connector housing that disguises an Apple Lightning cable.

As part of building an interactive QR code display, I had to figure out how to get a specific microcontroller working with AWS’s IoT. Adafruit picked up on it and the post gathered a few page views.

After playing a video game with a feline protagonist, Stray, I was so inspired I had to go to the fabric store and make a cat costume.

2022 marked the year that I started cautiously going to gatherings again — with COVID tests before and masks during. I designed a line of 3D printed necklaces that hold an assortment of types of COVID tests.
And those are the top posts! It was a pretty good look back at the year. And feel free to browse the 2022 Archives to see if anything else jumps out as fun or interesting.
