Ebenezer is a water-obsessed cat. Any time someone makes a move toward the back of the house, regardless of whether or not they are going to the bathroom back there, he races off to the bathroom, jumps into the tub, and yowls for water. When we have new guests over, I sometimes have to wonder what they think about either (1) kicking the cat out of the bathroom when they go to use it or (2) sharing the bathroom with a yowling cat while doing their business in there. Ebenezer is a smart cat. I fear that one of these days, he will figure out how to push the tub’s valve lever up, giving himself unlimited water (and wasting gallons when we are not around.) Fortunately, he does not know how to repeatedly flush the toilet.
Has anyone else noticed that Seuart‘s famous neoimpressionalist “dot” painting, Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, (as featured in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) features a woman with a monkey on a leash?
