Last night, I had a dream that one of our cats (The Precious) was speaking Spanish. She wasn’t speaking it so much as producing Spanish phrases from her mouth. She had eaten something that stuck to the roof of her mouth (like peanut butter) and as she scraped her tongue across it, it produced noises using the same sort of principle as talking tape. So she wasn’t intelligently speaking Spanish, she was just producing Spanish-language noises.
