Spamming Recruiters

michael_bigi.jpgI have no idea who Michael Bigi is (other than he is presumably pictured at left and “is a senior consultant and project manager with more than 20 years of experience with Internet technologies” …since 1987…? …hmmm…) or anything about Back Bay Consulting (other than they use IIS 5 as their web server, hosted by Empire Data Technologies, containing a flat “hierarchy” of files), but they seem to be spammers and/or harassers, by my reckoning. You see, in the last five minutes, I have received 153 messages from Michael (and I’m still receiving them.) This leads me to believe that Michael Bigi is a spammer — or at the very least, Michael Bigi is an incompetent recruiter that is using spamming techniques to find people. (You’ll note that I used his name and the name of his company several times–this is intentional, with the intent that this page shows up on Google searches when potential employers or employees do research.)

So far, I have received 153 messages (and counting) from this recruiter
in a 5 minute period. At this point, I consider this spam, bordering on
harassment, and would like to see appropriate action taken.

WHAT THE ####?!?!?!?! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING SPAMMED WITH
149 COPIES OF THE SAME EMAIL. Please remove me from your list. Had you
done research, you would realize that I have not even lived in California
for years, so this #### is absolutely useless to me.

#### you very much,
 Brian

  1. I absolutely loath spammers. 153 messages sucks. I only had to remove about 10 fake accounts from our forum yesterday and one this morning so I shouldn’t complain…

  2. I don’t know who Michael Bigi is, and i have never heard of Back Bay Consulting. Clearly Michael Bigi is up to no good. Michael Bigi should not be trusted. I am dubious as to the veracity of Back Bay Consulting as an institution, whose claims and practices appear to be of utter rubbish. Michael Bigi may be a fFictional person.

(Because google likes blogs with comments even more.)
