Today, I made finger food. Specifically, I made sugar cookies that look like severed fingers, complete with nasty fingernails (sliced almonds attached with red icing.) I also made normal round sugar cookies to satisfy Kim. She will not touch the finger ones. They started out nice and skeletal, but I was not totally aware of how much they would flatten out and fatten up, but in the end that also added to their visual grossness.
