It took four retries for me to finally understand one of the women asking “how are you doing today?” $400 later, our flights are adjusted.
I do not know if I mentioned it in this journal before, but we will be in SoCal from December 22-31 (formerly the 20-31.) Although we will be staying at a swanky suite at Disneyland for several of those days, we will be looking for crash space for most other days. I'll post the itinerary once we have updated it to reflect the new departure date.
I may also be looking for a cat (or even house, if that is easier) sitter along that same timeframe.
