There is no arguing with the machine or forcing it to stay awake for more than 20 seconds at a time. The whole thing makes me wonder what would happen if I took on a similar policy at work. “Sorry, that is too much work and today is too hot of a day for me to do anything but take a nap.”
The cats are having a grand time sharing one of the front windowsills. It would appear that a whole slew of young birds, living in the tree in front of the house, have recently discovered what life is like outside of the nest. The kitties are absolutely mesmerized by these small, flying cat toys.
Fortunately, rotating the iMac around so that it is not stuck in the thermally horrible alcove of the desk's hutch makes all the difference in the world.
