All of the Mac people, for years, have been saying that Apple should port OS X to the PC chipset. There are rumors that Apple even has internal builds that do run on Intel chips. Has anyone ever thought of the reverse–Microsoft porting their Windows OS to the Mac chipset?

If you stop and think about it, they already have. The new XBox runs the same chipset as the current Macs and runs some flavor of Windows to make porting games from the PC to the console easier. Should we start getting worried that Microsoft might start trying to push a consumer OS on to actual Apple hardware? I am going to guess that no self-respecting Mac user would run it, but what about all the supposed Windows-iPod-to-Mac-Mini “halo effect” people?
