So, Portlanders, who is voting what on the various local people and measures? I am afraid I know very little about the Multnomah County stuff.

I have a couple of photos from The Precious getting her first bath.

It is always satisfying to take the big trash can that sits under the paper shredder and dump it on a fire.

Really, the photo does not do justice to the size of the bonfire and the heat that was radiating from the fireplace. Warm fires make for happy cats–but they are entirely confused by the fact that there is a glass screen instead of a metal one–the kind they got used to at the other place.

I finished that Halloween book. Kim: you are next on the list! It was decent–good in places, slow in others, but I do not typically read nonfiction (aside from technical manuals), so I have no idea how this ranks in the realm of nonfiction.

P.S. I have just been told that I am almost as old (a week younger, actually) as Dungeons and Dragons. I am not sure how I should feel about this.
