My CROSS-COMPILER is made of BITS

Events of the past week include dinner with Kim at The Farm, which included a nifty little cheese plate. That cheese plate had a number of odd (for me, at least) fruits, including currants and quince. Later, we walked over to the Laurelhurst to see The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, which I have on DVD (and previously on VHS) and have watched over and over again, but never got to see in the theater. Activities also included our trip a trip to a taqueria that was supposed to be really good but either was not or we ordered the wrong things. The fish taco was rather bland and the Big Nachos were nothing compared to the Costa Mesa Los Primos' Super Pete's Nachos (a.k.a. “The Big Plate of Fuck.”)

Connolly stopped by last night on his way home from dinner and too-sugary-ice-cream, then Eric showed up because he got home from Venezuela. Much talking and some beer. I have photos of Ebenezer trying to hop up into BC's lap that I need to upload.

Getting my final paycheck from Certivo is certainly turning out to be a fun little adventure. On second thought, it is definitely an adventure, but certainly not fun.

I cannot wait until the Directors Cut of Donnie Darko comes to Cinema 21.

“I'll take 'Movies I Do Not Think I Can Stomach Through' for $1000, Alex.” “Your answer is: 'Saw.'” The official movie site is rather Flash-full, artsy, and goes on and on. The trailer, on the other hand, is short, concise, and very disturbing. Do you know how most trailers start with that white text on a green background saying “The following preview has been approved for all audiences?” Well, I am not so sure about this particular trailer.
