The “you have mail that did not get caught by spam filters or dumped into a mailing list folder” indicator was lit in the mail program’s wharf icon. Click, click. It was an email from her! EEEeeeeee! She is interested enough to take a look at my site and the recent [public] LiveJournal entries and laugh at some silly things. Yeay!
I am still going to call her, instead of emailing (or maybe be wild and do BOTH!), but this is a happy little self-esteem boost that will make that first call a bit easier.
