So, the new Matrix movie came out today. I would not have even known, were it not for the chat room associated with this live-action alternate-reality game thing I'm playing that is Matrix related and may or may not be part of the “official” Matrix franchise. I have not seen the new movie yet, and probably will not until it comes out on DVD–I have already heard all the spoilers and just do not care enough about the series after the last movie to want to see it immediately. The quotes are rolling in, though:

“The Wachowski brothers have delivered a dud so disappointing, they may as well have bussed in Ewoks to save Zion.”

“I saw it in Westwood and there was a video crew filming fan reactions outside the theater.
'Give us your opinion of the movie,' they asked.
I replied, 'How about this, I give you the finger, and you give me my $9.75 back.'
I suspect I won't make the final edit for the commercial.”

“The big secret is that it turns out that there IS a spoon!”

“Growing up to see Revolutions is like growing up to realize that your dad is an alcoholic instead of the superhero you once thought he was.”

“You either hate it or can tolerate sitting through it.”

“The plot seemed extremely shallow compared to the last one.”
