Today, I learned about a new music style. The style goes by the name “zydeco.” It is basically an up-tempo cajun jazz/blues sort of thing. Prominently featured are guitars and accordions (but this squeezebox music is a lot different from the musical stylings of They Might be Giants). Right now, I am really hooked on Beau Jocque's rendition of “Cisco Kid.” I am not sure I can listen to this on a long-term basis, but for today all is good.
