I listened to Nerf Herder's album “American Cheese” for the first time last night, and I must concur with Mr. G. Great stuff! I mean, how could you NOT like a band that has songs called “Mr. Spock” and “Chewbacca, What A Wookie”???

I am surprised I never got into them before now, though. They did the theme for Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as Chewbacca for Clerks, and I never connected the two together. I recognized each as being tied to Star Wars at the time because of the band's name, but I was never in the mindset to connect Buffy with Clerks in this manner. It is like I did a logic problem where I discovered “A equals B” and “B equals C” but had problems remembering these facts long enough to realize “A equals C.”

Today's list of nerdy Star Trek songs (not counting the ones that were overplayed on Dr. Demento back in high school, like “Star Trekkin'”):
– Nerf Herder, Mr. Spock
– Voltaire, The Sexy Data Tango
– Voltaire, The USS Make Shit Up
– Voltaire, Klingon Rap
I am sure there are others that I am not remembering or am not aware of–the above list consists of only songs on my computer at work. Any suggestions to add to the list?
