I got a paper cut under the nail of the middle finger of my left hand a few hours ago. The bleeding has finally stopped, but it still hurts.
I picked up an audiobook the other day. I really liked the book Cryptonomicon. Meta_kate and I have been on an audiobook kick recently, so I bought it after noticing it is unabridged. I have been listening to it, copying cassette tape to MP3, but every once in a while have thought to myself “this section seems brief. Was there more here?” Today, I notice the text on the front states Unabridged Excerpts. What the hell kind of crazy talk is this?! Aren't these two terms mutually exclusive?
