The next muzak recommendation is “I Started A Joke” by the Wallflowers. The more observant in the crowd will note that this is a cover of a Beegees song! Ick! But that doesn’t make it any less good. Plus, maybe I am a little emotionally biased. One of the first times I heard this song, I didn’t know it was the Beegees, and it was being used as…sort of a plot device, but not quite…in a Penn And Teller movie. In fact, this was the first time I saw Penn and Teller in anything more than just a skit or single trick or “bit.” This was ever before seeing them in person. So, I was not aware of the awful Beegee connection. Look for it, download it, listen to it, delete it. Or don’t even download it. Do whatever you want. I don’t care. I like the song anyway.
