Bike Commute Challenge: Final Score

Last month, I did the Portland Bike Commute Challenge.  You may remember the post.  I did not end up with the score-card I hoped for, but it was decent enough, considering this was the first “real” biking I have done since, perhaps, junior high school.  In recent years, my bicycling has been confined to small trips to the pub and back.

I loved going to work (coasting down Clinton street).  I was less happy with the return trips home (pedaling all the way back up Clinton).  I could not do Wednesdays, due to scheduling (yoga) and things sort of petered out toward the end of the month when the weather turned for the worse (my wardrobe is a little light on the waterproof activewear front).  Overall, though, I think I did well.  Go me!
