Dear O'Reilly:
How many email mes­sages are you going to send me with the sub­ject line “thank you for attend­ing OSCON 2006″ or sim­i­lar.  To date, I count at least 7, with no end is in sight.  I was sick and did not get to attend OSCON, so don't thank me.  I real­ize that there is a quick and easy way to unsub­scribe myself from your mail­ing list, but I would like to receive mes­sages about next year's OSCON, so unsub­scrib­ing isn't ideal.
